JOB POSTING - CONTENT MANAGER
Terra Soft Solutions is a Linux software development company famous for its world-renowned Yellow Dog Linux operating system for the Sony PS3, Apple
PowerPC, and IBM computers. Located just west of Old Town Loveland, Colorado, 27 miles east of Rocky Mountain National Park and forty five minutes
from downtown Denver, Terra Soft is housed in a fully remodeled historic building with a beautiful, open, fast-paced, high-tech work environment.
Position Description
This position demands someone who demands perfection. The content manager resides at the heart of Terra Soft, ensuring that all aspects of the
organization, both internal and remote are supported through proper documentation. The content manager is also an information conduit, moving the
knowledge of the engineers to the Terra Soft customers through on-line HOWTOs, Guides, and Tutorials.
The content manager will:
- Manage the Terra Soft internal Team server, including the Team and Customer archives, wiki, SOPs, and 'best practices' documentation.
- Manage the Terra Soft (www.terrasofsolutions.com) web content.
- Manage the YDL.net (www.ydl.net) web content and download directories.
- Manage the Yellow Dog public mirrors.
- Manage the internal Team and development lists.
- Assist with the management of Team and engineering meetings and record meeting minutes.

- An innate sense of organization.
Required Skills
- Must be well versed in HTML/XHTML, and CSS (cascading style sheets).
- PHP and MySQL not mandatory, but helpful.
- Well versed in server-side command line editors such as nano and/or vi.
- A strong background in the Linux shell (no, we do not edit our web pages using FrontPage on Windows).
- Exceptional technical and creative communication skills in English (as a first, second, or fifth language).
Education/Experience
- We understand, most schools simply do not offer a major in Entropy with a minor in Website Development.
- At least 4 years hand-coding websites from Linux and/or using a Linux server.
- Active involvement in the Open Source community, preferred.
