Contour Design, Inc. Announces Yellow Dog Linux Support for the USB UniMouse

Contour Design, Inc., international, corporate leader in ergonomically designed input devices, today announced in conjunction with Terra Soft Solutions, creators of Yellow Dog Linux for multiple platforms, the first officially tested USB 3 Button Mouse to work with Yellow Dog Linux. Contour Design and Terra Soft Solutions have worked together to create a RPM patch for Contour Designís popular UniMouse. This patch allows current users the ability to add 3-button support for the most prominent PowerPC Linux OS. The patch is available at Contour Designís web site, www.contourdesign.com/unidrivers.htm
The UniMouse also offers USB plug-and-play compatibility with PCs that are running Windows 98 or higher. On PCs, the middle button can soft-scroll in any direction and the right button provides contextual menus options. The two outer buttons can be reversed using the Windows standard mouse control panel.
