Plans included consolidating web serving needs for three departments with the need to scale to more virtual hosts if needed. We were relying on scarce IT dollars in a competitive environment. I had tested YDL Champion server 1.2 in the past and decided to try YDL 2.x as a possible option. The improvements were great and the decision was made to migrate an existing B&W G3 server to YDL for our production environment. The testing and transition was smooth and in June 2002 we went live with our production system."

"I'm pleased to report that today (6-20-03) we hit our one year anniversary of being in production with 365 days, 24x7 of uptime. I have only restarted the web service to deal with configuration changes and have not had to reboot the server. Apt has kept us patched throughout the year and is wonderful.
