For more than two years Nortel has trusted Yellow Dog Linux and now Y-HPC for code development and prototype construction for the backend systems which support cell phone call initialization protocol.

The physical construct of the systems is comprised of Apple G4 PowerMacs, G4 Xserves, and G5 Xserves.
